About Ed Forteau
Ed Forteau is a former medical researcher and marketing liaison with a major pharmaceutical company. His lifelong struggle with his weight has led him to research why people gain and lose weight, and how our lifestyle can improve our health without the use of drugs, fad diets, or extreme exercise programs.
He found that typical weight loss methods don’t last, so he developed a common sense approach that is progressive. It is based on the simple concept of increased activity and better nutrition.
Starting with modest changes in activity, and moving to spending as little as 20 minutes a day of dedicated walking, combined with improved nutrition (not dieting), has helped him lose fat, strengthen his heart, and increase his lung capacity. He now teaches his common sense approach to others.
